When I think about how much you’ve given to me, words fail. Your warmth, compassion, knowledge and true caring have helped me through some of the most difficult parts of my life. You have helped me to rediscover a capacity for joy.

Linda Yael Schiller, MSW, LICSW

Linda Yael Schiller, MSW, LICSW is an international expert on dreams, nightmares, and trauma treatment. The author of several books, including her new “Ancestral Dreaming: Heal Generational Wounds through Dreamwork”, Linda has created several innovative methods for working with dreams, nightmares, and trauma. Dream studies take us on us on a deep dive into the heart of our healing. They help us to go forwards and backwards in time to heal from our personal, ancestral, and global traumas at the source, and then, along with dream-guided action steps, pass on the healing rather than the trauma to the next generations. Dream interpretation and active dreamwork allow us some of the most direct and unfettered access to the unconscious wisdom of our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls. We heal within relationships, and working with others on our dreams combines relational healing with this depth approach, adding voice and connection to the healing process. Linda’s integrative psycho-spiritual and embodied approaches enhance resilience and extend to her dreamwork, consulting, coaching, teaching, and therapeutic practices. She is trained in and explores the interface between psychotherapy, neurobiology, spirituality, energy work, and embodied therapies. Those experiencing or working with nightmares, intergenerational healing, PTSD, or trauma of all kinds can benefit from her writing and her guidance. A highly skilled teacher and Professor Emeritus at Boston University School of Social Work and Simmons University Post-Graduate Trauma Treatment Program, Linda provides rich, engaging, dynamic and interactive workshops and classes. Her focus on the power of healing relationships and her compassionate presence enhance her work and her ability to connect one on one, in small and large groups, in classroom settings, and in retreat events. Linda’s professional group work background and scholarship contribute to her facilitation skills in dream groups, consultation groups, workshops and retreats. Her warmth, compassion, and humor shine through all her work. Linda has been a practicing dream interpreter, psychotherapist, coach, consultant, and teacher for over 40 years. For professionals, Linda offers training, consultation, and dreamwork skill building groups and seminars. She can be contacted at her email; lindayschiller@gmail.com or through this website.
